Senior Institute: 11th Grade

Students are introduced to music technology; audio recording techniques, songwriting, composing using loops and midi, piano, and an intro to music theory. The applications we use are Apple Logic Pro X, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere to create original works of art.

 

Students create original music, poetry, and videos that they publish to Vimeo and/or Soundcloud.  Students also receive Career & College Readiness, Financial Literacy, and paid internship opportunities throughout the year, opportunities to visit BMCC, our college partner, and various work-based learning experiences.
